FIDE Candidates 2026 Fan Zone: Meet the Players in Paphos

The FIDE Candidates Tournament 2026 will offer fans a new and exciting experience in Paphos. A special Fan Zone will be set up at the venue. This open-air space will allow spectators to get closer to the world of elite chess.

Throughout the tournament, the Fan Zone will host many fun activities. Visitors can enjoy lectures, masterclasses, simultaneous exhibitions, and discussions with famous chess personalities.

The Fan Zone will be hosted by Angelika Valkova. She will guide fans through the daily schedule and special events happening during the tournament.

Meet the Candidates Players

One of the biggest attractions of the Fan Zone is the chance to meet the Candidates players themselves. On most days, two or more tournament players will visit the Fan Zone. Fans will be able to:
