Champions Crowned at FIDE World Cadets & Youth Rapid & Blitz Chess Championship 2025
The FIDE World Cadets & Youth Rapid & Blitz Chess Championship 2025 wrapped up in beautiful Rhodes, Greece!
Over 430 young chess players from 48 countries came together to compete in both rapid and blitz formats. Players battled it out in categories ranging from Under-8 to Under-18, for both Open and Girls divisions.
Across five exciting days, the players completed a total of 22 rounds — 11 rapid and 11 blitz. In the end, 24 champions were crowned, showcasing the rising stars of the chess world.
Grand Closing Ceremony
The grand closing was held at the Palace Hotel Rhodes and was attended by many respected guests:
