Call for Submissions: FIDE Veteran Support Program 2026
FIDE has announced the Veteran Support Program 2026. This program is made to help chess veterans who have given a lot to the game.
FIDE will provide grants and financial support to selected nominees. These grants are for distinguished chess players, coaches, and organizers.
To apply, the nominee must be 65 years or older. They should have made strong contributions to the development of chess. They must also be facing an unstable financial situation right now.
FIDE invites national federations, chess clubs, and individuals to send submissions. Each submission must include a CV of the nominee.
Applications must be sent to office@fide.com.
