FIDE 2025 World Corporate Chess Championship: Registration Open
The FIDE World Corporate Chess Championship 2025 is here! This unique event celebrates the power of business and chess coming together. Companies from all over the world are invited to form teams and compete for the ultimate title: The Smartest Company in the World.
The championship will take place in three stages:

Over-the-board Finals in Goa, India (alongside the prestigious FIDE World Cup 2025).

The event shows how the principles of chess — strategy, adaptability, and smart decision-making — connect directly with the business world. By competing, employees, executives, and business leaders get a chance to bond, network, and showcase their corporate pride.

The World Corporate Chess Championship has transformed into a global showcase, mixing serious business with serious chess. After an online edition in 2021 and a spectacular event in New York 2024, we now bring the finals to Goa, alongside the FIDE World Cup. India, a rising chess powerhouse and economic leader, is the perfect host.
Who Can Play?

Any legally recognized company can register.

Each team has 4 players + 1 captain (the captain may also play).

Eligible participants include employees, board members (since March 1, 2025), and owners with more than 10% shares.

Companies may register more than one team.
Tournament Format
✔️Stage 1: Online Qualifiers – Lichess.org, October 11–12

Rapid Team Swiss (7 rounds, 10+3).

One qualifier per team.

Top teams advance to the knockout.
👉Stage 2: Online Knockout – Lichess.org, October 18

Two-match duels (10+3).

Tie-breaks with sudden death.

8 winners move to the finals.
Stage 3: Finals in Goa – November 14–16

8 knockout winners + invited/wildcard teams (up to 16).

Group stage → semifinals → final.
