Salome Melia is a strong Georgian chess player from Batumi(Salome Replace Lela Javakhishvili). She has an impressive career with several achievements:
- Two-time European Under-18 Girls Champion (2004, 2005).
- Silver medalist at the Women’s European Individual Chess Championship (2013).
- Bronze medalist in the same event (2014).
- Two-time Georgian Women’s Champion (2008, 2010).
- Represented Georgia in multiple Chess Olympiads, including the 45th edition in Budapest.
- Part of the gold medal-winning team at the 2015 Women’s World Team Chess Championship in Chengdu.
